Would you like some toe with that jam?

Yum! Yum! There's nothing like a good, old fashioned chomp on the foot!
Pretty darn cute if I do say so myself.

Spring has SPRUNG!

Spring is here, and thanks to some planting in the fall (mostly by Justin :) ) our yard has bulbs blooming in every nook and cranny. The crocus, daffodils and hyacinths are in full bloom and the anemones, tulips and ranuculas (sp ?) are starting to get buds. Besides bringing beauty and cheer to our yard, to me they're a sign of warm weather on it's way. We can't wait to play in the yard, walk down to Christy's with bare feet and just plain enjoy the sunshine. (As you can tell, Brogan enjoys it despite the chill of winter :) ) Poppy is looking forward to more walks and visits to the doggy park. And well for Aubrey this will be her first spring, so she's not sure what she's looking forward to, but she's already tasted the daffodil and she wasn't too fond of it :)
Happy Spring Everyone!

Feeling Crafty

Today I had a great time crafting while Aubrey napped. A teacher I work with (Melissa Kadel) makes GREAT bows, so I was inspired by her. She made me a bow for Aubrey and showed me the trick to her bows...so off to the craft store I went last night. I was also inspired by baby Tess' home sewn capris at nursery last week, so I decided to buy fabric to make Aubrey capris (to match her new bow-- of course) , more bow supplies (already attempted that craft previously--- I'm much better now that Melissa showed me her tricks) and some random tutu supplies (saw this idea on some boutique website). Haven't had time to sew the capris yet, but we did finish a bow (for a shower I'm attending next Saturday) and an adorable tutu that's too big for Aubrey, but I think I have just the right girl in mind. Had to try them on Aubrey and she seemed to approve.

Where are the teeth?

It seems like Aubrey has been teething forever! When she was three months old, the doctor said she was irritable because she was teething. She's five months now and STILL NO TEETH. They'll eventually push their was through, but meanwhile she'll continue to chew on her fingers. I think I can feel them right under the gums, so lets hope for her sake they come in soon :)

Double handed chew! Now that takes talent!
