Feeling Crafty

Today I had a great time crafting while Aubrey napped. A teacher I work with (Melissa Kadel) makes GREAT bows, so I was inspired by her. She made me a bow for Aubrey and showed me the trick to her bows...so off to the craft store I went last night. I was also inspired by baby Tess' home sewn capris at nursery last week, so I decided to buy fabric to make Aubrey capris (to match her new bow-- of course) , more bow supplies (already attempted that craft previously--- I'm much better now that Melissa showed me her tricks) and some random tutu supplies (saw this idea on some boutique website). Haven't had time to sew the capris yet, but we did finish a bow (for a shower I'm attending next Saturday) and an adorable tutu that's too big for Aubrey, but I think I have just the right girl in mind. Had to try them on Aubrey and she seemed to approve.

I think you are going to have to make her a little tutu as well, she just looks so excited about it. And the little bow is just too cute. I am very impressed with your craftiness. (If that's a word?)

I love having Aubrey in nursery! She just doesn't love us apparently since she is only happy when her mama is there! :(
