In a nut shell...

This last month has been full. Full of remembering, full of family, full of celebration, all with a side of sickness.

My break from blogging has been freeing, although I find myself wanting to get on facebook instead. The nice thing about facebook is that I'm not so smart with it yet, so I can't get too lost in the tangled web of addiction ;). I've subscribed to a daily devotional e-mail (I'm sure I'm like the last person on the planet to do that). I really love it because I feel like it starts my day off on the right note and gets me focused on some quiet time with God. I've also started reading Captivating. I think checking in about once a week is perfect, although, my Sundays tend to be soooo busy that I can't make it through all the blogs and comment.

Anywho, my photo files were filling up so I thought I'd post a photo recap of our month in a nut shell.

Justin's grandpa passed away last month. He was a precious man who left a legacy of love behind. His memorial service was seriously one of the most beautiful things I've ever been to. He was a man with a passion for the Lord and helping the young find their own passion. Many of Justin's family members traveled long distances to celebrate his homecoming with the Lord. It's always good to be with family and we all enjoyed each other's company. Pres would have been over the moon with all the cute grand kids and great-grand kids.

Uncle, aunts and grandma Jean
Justin's cousins
more cousins
Justin's parents, aunt and uncle
Alisha and I
Andy is sad that little miss Gwen Scout and Lyla had to go home with Lyndsey (sp) because Gweny got sick.
Great grand kids
Aubrey thought her older cousin Elena was really cool. She taught Aubrey to climb up mommy and daddy by holding onto our hands. I LOVED doing that as a kid too. :)
.....the update continues....
REAGAN TURNS ONE!
AUBREY GETS SICK

This picture is absolutely disgusting, but I HAD to put it on here. This nastiness was all the way up her back and even touched her shoulders! EWWWW!! The diarrhea was followed by a nasty cold that we're just barely getting over.
AUBREY IS FEELING BETTER
We headed out to Murray Family Farms to feed the animals and check out the produce. It was beautiful weather, and our animal lover couldn't get enough of the petting zoo.

Oh my goodness. We took Gweny to Murray Family Farms this Saturday. She was a little skittish of the goats at first. Did you "swim" in the corn kernels? So much fun!
