Go-to dinner list

My sister and I were talking about her new budget, and we talked about grocery shopping. I'm definitely an over spender. I wander around and pick up this, grab that, put that back. Most of the time, I create a vision for the weekly menu WHILE I'm shopping. Sometimes I base the menu on what's on sale, but most of the time, I base it on what looks good. Anywho, my sis and I decided to write up a go-to dinner list. It's a trick that her sister-in-law uses when planning her meals around work, activities, etc. Basically, it's a list you can look at to figure out what you want to do for dinner that week. Pick the quicker ones for the busiest days, and the more complex ones for lazy days at home. I keep adding to my list, but I know I'm going to lose it, so I thought I'd put it on my blog. Maybe it'll help you with some meal ideas {I am no gourmet chef}, but mostly so you can add to my list some of your family favorites. {Pretty please}

Great idea.... I am the same way. I wander around and just buy whatever looks good. I end up going to the grocery store about 3 times a week because of this habit! lol. I do a lot of mexican food. Mostly because I always buy avocados, salsa, jalepenos,black beans, and sour cream. Which as it turns out have endless combinations. ;)
