On turning FIVE!

How in the world did my 9lb 14oz chubby baby girl grow up so darn quickly?!

Aubrey has matured so much in the last year. She is intelligent, loving, and one of the most imaginative kids I've ever met. This year she wanted an art party. I was happy to oblige.
Half the fun was working together on projects to get ready for the party. We painted aprons for each guest, made a construction paper chain for decoration, and looked on the computer for all kinds of art ideas.

We bought a few dollar store decorations, set the table with all our project supplies, and got the rainbow fruit platter and pizza ready for our guests. When they arrived they made a fruit loop necklace to snack on, decorated their project bags with little melted circle crayons, painted some cupcake pictures, used fabric markers to create a mural on their apron, and finally decorated cupcakes!

Even though we were sad that a few guests weren't able to make it, it ended up being the perfect sized party because of all the art projects. Aubrey loved having a combination of family, church friends and neighborhood friends.

The Guests: (Let me just say that I'm sooooo glad no one took a face shot of me like this. All these kiddos are so adorable and these pictures do them NO justice. LOL Guess that is what a point and shoot gets you.)

REAGAN- Cousin-neighbor

ABBY- Neighbor

GRACIE- Bestie/ Church and neighbor

CHARLEIGH- Church/Juliet's future sis-in-law :)

BROGAN- Cousin-neighbor

FAITH- Neighbor- Kindergarten friend
JULIET- Sister (who was worn out!)

THE BIRTHDAY GIRL!

And here is the birthday girl herself with a little interview on what life is like as a five year old. I think her little prissy interview voice is hilarious! Check out last year's birthday post to compare.

I love the birthday interviews. I think I just might steal it and do it with the boy this year.
