The Good, The Bad and The Ugly

We're back... and everything went MUCH better than expected! I always enjoy visiting with family and this trip was no exception.

The Good

Being with family, the weather, the yard, the food, the photo locations, Glacier National Park, the trees, the rope swing, kids, the flight, having a big dinner at grandmas when we got back, grandma and grandpa's new car and taking a sweet smelling shower when we got back to grandmas.

The Bad

The sulfur, egg smelling water in Montana, the condition of the floor in the "Montana" house, Aubrey's sleep schedule getting all messed up, not having Justin there to visit and help out, the long hours of driving with a baby, the weather once we left Montana (SUPER HOT on the way home), having to wait while grandma and grandpa bought a new car, grandma's bladder cancer and having to leave family

The Ugly

The green shag carpet in the house, pretty much the whole interior of the house, hearing drama about the family and business.

The good definitely outweighed the bad and the ugly, well except for my grandma's cancer. My grandma still needs your prayers. She has bladder cancer that has caused one of her kidneys to fail and they think has spread to her lungs. She'll begin daily radiation in a couple of weeks, which means a daily drive of at least and hour each way. Please pray for my grandpa's driving and my grandma's quality of life.

Enjoy these fun pictures!

I like how you did this blog- it was fun reading each category. = ) The pictures are great- wow, that barn! Sounds like you and Aubrey were both troopers. When I see Michelle all I can think of (the only time I spent time with her) is that trip to Pismo when we hung out with her and her friend Amanda!

Oh! I need to post the newest info on Riley- she's home now! The drs are totally astounded at how it only took 7 days for her to recover. They're not sure how she got it. She's only breastfed and just started rice cereal. Their only speculation is that she went swimming in 3 different pools that week before. Weird.

You are of course so on top of keeping us all updated-which I love! Sounds like you had a super special time...I remember when we went for a summer in highschool how much fun we had-the bee farm and getting stranded at the extracting facility (remmeber that! ) :P
oh and why is the layout of the site different? Looks good! :)

Of course I remember you! Actually when Megan put up all the links to her friends pages I was so excited to read about how you and Misha were doing and I even sent Stephen all of the links. He's not much of a blogger though... so I wouldn't expect any comments. I love that you named your little girl Aubrey too! I love that name. My dad wanted to name me that, but my mom won on that battle and here I am a Lisa... So I sort of told him I would consider it in my bag of names when we decide to have kids. He would always play me that song by Bread to cement it in me how great the name was. The job is fairly new, I have been with the company since last August and I got promoted to the editor position last December. It's going good. Well anyway, this is kind of getting to be a long comment. Good to hear from you!

Man Barbie we were so close, we should have met! I'm glad you had such a good time with all the family. Anna was so sad when all of you left. I'm with you though, it is hard to travel with a young one. To the point that it deters me most of the time. Hope she's back on schedule now.

Love all your photos! It does look pretty there. Too bad the water stinks!
