14 weeks 4 days

My squishy gut from the last year of overeating is finally starting to firm up and resemble a baby bump. Most of my clothes aren't snug, so you can't really tell, but yesterday I actually wore and outfit that revealed my baby bump.

This week has been great. I feel like a new woman! I'm still a little yucky at night, but overall, I have way more energy, an actual desire to socialize with other people, and less nausea. I can't wait till I get to that point in my pregnancy where it's hard to remember how bad those first few weeks actually are. Don't get me wrong, I'm extrememly thankful for this pregnancy and really the sickness too, because it was a great reminder that my baby was growing in me. Like labor though, it's nice to reflect back on without actually having to experience the event. ;)

Oh, so cute! This is the best time...I was so excited when my belly started looking less like flab and more like a baby bump. Next will be the baby movements, definitly my favorite part of pregnancy!
