5 months

First, let me start by saying how much I love the onesies that Megan gave me as a gift. I love that they inspire me to take pictures each month and capture who Juliet is at each stage. I love my set of 12, but I also think a set of 1, 3, 6, 9, 12 months would be a perfect shower gift. So, thank you, Megan...check out her website if you're interested in buying your own set. This month's photo session went MUCH better than last months. I think we're finally free of those pesky ear infections! Juliet seems to be reaching new milestones everyday! I feel like she's becoming a "big girl" baby, if that makes sense. I think I love her more as each day passes, if it's possible. ♥

At 5 months:

• You can sit by yourself!!! You've been working on this all month, but really started to get more stable during this week. You're still wobbly, so I'm RIGHT there, but when you're well rested, you can sit up for a good couple minutes before tumbling over or slouching down.
• You LOVE to take out your paci and put it back it. This is all fine and dandy when you're in a happy, playful mood. When you're tired, it's another story.
• You love to be outside. I know that most babies do, but it seems to make everything better if you're in a cranky mood.
• Your tounge spends a lot of time outside of your mouth ;P
• Your thighs...oh your yummy, squishy thighs.
• Speaking of thighs, at your last Drs appt...about a week ago, you weighed 14lbs 10oz. Much lighter than your big sis was, but catching up to your petite cousin, Zoe.
• Your two favorite people are your sis-a-roo (as we like to call her) and your daddy. Sure, you like your mama, but you LIGHT UP for them.
• Much to daddy's dismay, I call you Jooj or Joojer Booj or Boojer Bear or just plain Booj, pretty much ALL. THE. TIME. Sometime I slip and call your sister that too, but she's quick to correct me. Her nickname is NOT Boojer, but Auburrito or burrito or burrito buns.
• You LOVE to pet Poppy. You think her fur is so soft. She doesn't even mind you pulling on it. She gives you kisses in return. :)
• You've had rice cereal, sweet potatoes and avacado so far. You still prefer Mama's milk.
• You really are such a sweet baby except when you are overtired or get mad, but we won't talk about that.
