My chill, easy going baby that cruised around in a stroller for four days in New York city.
The one who just started with her wobbly walk and turned one like yesterday.
My baby, my cuddly, dependent little baby...
...WELL... that baby is becoming a big girl WAY.TOO.FAST!
At 15 months, Juliet's little personality is more apparent everyday.
Juliet is full of character and spunk!
She LOVES to sing especially in the car. Her favorite songs that she actually sings are "Away....away..." from Away in the Manger, "how I"...and "up above" from Twinkle, Twinkle, and "bubble, bubble, bubble" from the Bubble Guppies theme song.
She also is very verbal with her wants. She loves to let you know that she wants "nack" "nack, mommy" when she wants a goody or "numnum, wawa" when she wants a meal. Her latest trick is saying "pee pee" and pulling off her diaper to sit on the toilet after sissy goes potty. Apparently the kid didn't get the memo that I don't plan on potty training her until she's like 3 ;)
Her hair is finally getting longer (mostly in the back) and when it's wet we can slick it into big girl pigtails!
This picture might remind you of another baby of mine that grew up way too fast!
She's also very athletic. Seriously, it's crazy how well she can track (not sure what the right word is) and kick the ball. And RUN. Oh my, can she run. She pulls those shoulders back and goes full speed ahead. We've had a few fat lips as a result. She also LOVES to climb and jump--on pretty much anything. She has NO fear! She just scoots herself on up and lets loose. Gives me a heart attack!! We MUST keep Aubrey's door shut because she's figured out how to climb up on her bed, and she just starts jumping like crazy.
She's also become interested in the toys that Aubrey is interested in. She likes dress up clothes, jewelry and make-up. Just today she found a glue stick and took off the lid and was rubbing it on her lips. Crazy kiddo. She also loves "babies" and "Barbies", and the crazy thing is she knows the difference!! She was so proud of herself when she figured out how to say Barbie.
All this to say that this girl of mine is growing up. I love it, but at the same time it makes me sad (and exhuasted). I just can't help but wonder what the future holds for my little adventure seeker. She's definitely a moover and a shaker, so I know the Lord has big plans for her. We sure love you, Juliet!
I'm just so thankful for each of my girls!

Sooo sweet Barb! I love how you documented this "growing up too fast" stage. They do grow incredibly fast, don't they? Thank God for your two healthy BEAUTIFUL daughters. Maybe Nora will have a sister too one day... maybe!
Lots of love,

That was thoroughly ENJOYABLE!!! Juliet is definitely her own person and that's what makes parenting so fun, they are all unique.
