This and That

~I finished my window project a few weeks ago. After all the color quickly faded from my moss wreaths, I decided to just paint and age the frame- no moss. Then Justin painted the glass with chalkboard paint. I was so excited to add a little rusted hardware and hang it up to give my entry a whole new look. I was even going to add some rolled fabric roses, and be all crafty. But alas, I bumped the table it was leaning on, it fell and shattered everyone. Such a bummer!! Maybe I'll get inspired to re-do the project soon.

~I'm on the hunt for an old bike. I don't really care if it works, I just want to paint it a bunch of fun bright colors like this.

How adorable is this picture! Juliet will be the perfect age next summer, so I guess I have until then.

~I had been growing out my hair to donate then I found out that most organizations don't want highlighted hair. A friend did suggest one organization that will take highlighted hair as long as it is in good condition. I'm just wondering how much of my hair they will actually be able to use. I also know that you can donate hair to help clean up oil spills. I'm feeling conflicted about what to do. If I do end up cutting it, I'm thinking a long bob...kind of a Barbara Streisand look.

Or maybe even a shorter do, like this. I would definitely need to keep losing weight because these short dos require a thin face.

~I'm shocked by how many opinions I get from people about starting Aubrey in kindergarten next year since her birthday is September 8. Personally, I feel like she'll thrive. Her preschool teacher is always telling us what a great listener and student she is. She has a personality that is very compatible with the traditional schooling system. She loves to learn and be instructed. I'm nervously excited. ;)
