~I'm on the hunt for an old bike. I don't really care if it works, I just want to paint it a bunch of fun bright colors like this.
How adorable is this picture! Juliet will be the perfect age next summer, so I guess I have until then.
~I had been growing out my hair to donate then I found out that most organizations don't want highlighted hair. A friend did suggest one organization that will take highlighted hair as long as it is in good condition. I'm just wondering how much of my hair they will actually be able to use. I also know that you can donate hair to help clean up oil spills. I'm feeling conflicted about what to do. If I do end up cutting it, I'm thinking a long bob...kind of a Barbara Streisand look.
Or maybe even a shorter do, like this. I would definitely need to keep losing weight because these short dos require a thin face.
~I'm shocked by how many opinions I get from people about starting Aubrey in kindergarten next year since her birthday is September 8. Personally, I feel like she'll thrive. Her preschool teacher is always telling us what a great listener and student she is. She has a personality that is very compatible with the traditional schooling system. She loves to learn and be instructed. I'm nervously excited. ;)
~Only 4 more work days until SCHOOL'S OUT FOR SUMMER!

love this!!! i love the haircuts too - inspiration for growing my hair out! oh, and my birthday is september 4 and I did just fine. :)
that's a cute bike idea! my b-day is sept 7 and nobody gave me grief. different times, i guess!
Oh no! Poor window! :(
I think every kid is different. And I think girls are very different from boys maturity wise at that age (just from my experience in the classroom... maybe I just always have boys who are handfuls!!). Between you working with her and her preschool experience, she has a solid foundation and will do awesome starting next year. I just can't believe she is ready to start already! tear... :(
bummer about your window!!
we have old bikes like that..lol..they are sitting in the barn!
aubrey seems like such a smarty, i's sure she would be just fine!
about your hair I like all the looks I say try the assymetrical look where its a bit longer in front...about aubs..she will be 5 the whole year...hey mike and I started when we were four...and we did ok :) plus Aubs is a great listener and smart and thoughtful and you were a good student I think she will be like you!
