Grandma Nancy's visit 2011

My mom came for two weeks this summer, and we had a great time enjoying her company! She treated us to two nights at the beach. We stayed in a suite that was big enough for all of us and had free breakfast in the morning. It was a perfect little break from reality.

 We started the trip with a visit to Avila Valley Barn, feeding animals, eating ice cream, and just enjoying the nice coast weather. Seriously, if you've never been there, you must go! It's such a nice destination by itself, not to mention it's 5 minutes from the beach!

 We also spent some time in Arroyo Grande, which I've never really done before. It's such a cute little town to walk around. They have all these chickens that live by the river with these cute little chicken houses that people have built. They also have this fun bridge over the creek. The highlight though, was Doc Burnstein's Ice Cream. It's Brogan's absolute favorite! (too bad I didn't get a picture)

 And, of course, you can't forget about the beach. It was the perfect day for enjoying the beach! I think the kiddos enjoyed their quality time playing with Grandma Nancy.

Brogan and Reagan's cousins (from their dad's side), Bailey and Riley, met up with us down on the beach and were such great sports entertaining the kids.

We ended the wonderful weekend with a sandy full moon. :)
