Can you believe that our baby is ONE!? It's weird how you go from giving your baby's age in days, to weeks, then months and now YEARS? Yikes! I remeber the first time I said she was 2 months old...no longer 8 weeks, but two months. It seemed to pass far too quickly and now ONE YEAR?! It makes me sad and happy at the same time. Sad that I can NEVER have that year back...never feel our FIRST born's newborn body again, never rock that newborn baby to sleep again, never anticipate that first smile, that first word, never feel that first tooth JUST barely cutting through...
It's been so special though, so I wouldn't want to go back...it would ruin those "once in a lifetime" moments. I'm also happy...EXCITED! God has blessed us with a HEALTHY, HAPPY, INTELLIGENT baby girl. We have a lifetime of milestones to look forward to. Each day she teaches us something new, makes me feel an emotion I never knew existed, and just brightens every moment of our days!

Oh my goodness I can't believe it's been a year! WOW! It doesn't seem that long ago that we drove across town to come see you. That was one of the first times I saw Scott sort of go "I want one". He couldn't wait to get back in the car and call people and tell EVERYBODY about your darling girl. So fun.

I'm sitting here with tears running down my cheeks after watching that slide show. It seems like yesterday that I was so surprised and thrilled at the addition of a "GIRL" to the Thompson family!!! Can't wait to give her a birthday kiss.
Wow! It seems like she was just born yesterday. I really think having kids makes you realize how time flies, I cant believe my baby is 7 mos! She is such a cute kid, and so lucky to have the parents she has. You guys are awesome parents. Cant wait to see baby #2 someday. Give her a birthday kiss for us!
It goes by so fast. I remeber visiting you in the hospital and I didn't even know I was pregnant with Gracie. Before you know it she will be 1 too!
What a cute slide show Barbie! I love her smile, it is adorable! One year does go by way, way too fast. It's crazy. Here's to many more!
