Of course, I have not an ounce of energy to go outside and enjoy it. We should take Aubrey for a bike ride or plant a bunch of late bulbs I bought at the grocery store, but instead we're watching Lost and football games. We did make it over to help Justin's grandma move some furniture and then she treated us to Olive Garden---YUM, but that doesn't really count as enjoying the outdoors. Hopefully this weather is a sign of the beautiful year to come.
It seems time passes more quickly each year. Maybe it's because life just gets busier or I'm getting older. It's a good reminder to value each day, each moment, because they pass all too quickly. That's my resolution this year, to really try to relish the small things. I want to spend more time noticing, enjoying, appreciating all the blessings that God has given us. Sometimes I feel like I let the days slip away with worrying about things like cleaning or organizing. I want to live in the moment more...if that makes sense.
Here's to a GREAT 2008!
Oh and here are some pictures of us ringing in the new year with Megan, Jason, Kurt, and Alisha. Aubrey also woke up because of all the fireworks so she joined us from about 11:30-12:30.

This is what you do when you're too cheap to buy Guitar Hero.
DANCE, DANCE, REVOLUTION baby!

Looks like you had fun. Last year you guys were here. I think we are coming at the end of Jan. The kids and I flying down for some Disneyland. I hope Christy has her baby by then.
I will agree the weather was beautiful yesterday. We were outside watching Ethan play. He was so excited to be out and about. It's just a teaser before the 5 days of rain expected. Oh well, I like rainy days too.
