(ignore the cookie around her mouth)
Unlike the Shel Silverstein poem, our girl really is sick. Swollen gunky eyes, green snot streaming down, fever, nasty sick! It's awful. I feel so bad for her and I'm sure she feels bad too. I think she's even losing her little voice. She wakes up in the middle of the night not sure of what she wants. She's just miserable. You know the "can't breathe through your nose, see through your eyes or suck on your pacifier" kind of sick. And what do I get from the doctor..."give her saline drops, motrin and some perscription eye drops". But doctor, can't you make it just disappear? Isn't that why you're here? Let's hope it goes away soon.

Poor, poor girl. Her usual Aubrey glow just isnt there. I hate hearing that it cant be fixed. Hang in there. Hopefully its fast.
Oh Barbie!Today was just awful for me too--Ollie woke up with a cold and stuffy noise and misery non-stop. The only thing that helped?Childrens'sudafed. I know I sound like a broken record, but dude, he could breath within minutes of taking a swig of that magic liquid!
Try it!
Poor thing. About a year ago we were staying in a cabin in Utah with a bunch of friends and Stephen's family. One of the friend's little girl, Kaela was super sick. I don't think her parents got any sleep that whole week.
She just kept coughing and walking around the house saying in the most pathetic little voice, "Kaela sick." It was so sad!
Luckily the cabin was equipped with a steam shower. Kaela's mommy set up a little bed for her in the bathroom and just kept up with the steam which helped a bit.
I hope your little one feels better soon. It is so sad when they are miserable.
Ahhh.. my poor baby. I need to come by and see her. Give her my love. Grandma Kim
