Distracted

So today I'm feeling less queasy. This is probably due to the fact that I've been distracted by a class full of 3rd graders, I've had something signifigant to eat about every 2 hours, and I've been surfing the net instead of focusing on my nausea.

Here are some of my distractions that I thought you might enjoy. This is a really cool site I found. You can plug in your kids' names, names you like or family names and it generates a list of names that goes along with the names you entered. Pretty cool! As you already know, I'm also obsessed with downloading digiscrap freebies. This site is really cool because the host updates it daily with freebie links and pictures of what you can get. If you don't like something today, you may find something you like tomorrow. I love checking it daily for cute freebies (like the polaroids from the beach page on my previous post). There are some polaroids a few days down on her site.

I've also been distracted by my quest to fulfill my hunger/nausea. I keep thinking I want a certain food, but then I eat it, feel nauseaus still, and probably won't want it again until after I'm preggo. Case #1: lettuce wraps that I enjoyed while on our Bible study date with the SL Cham clan and the Laus. They sounded soooo good and they were, but I don't think I'll be doing them again for a while.

Other favorites that I've had or really want:

Taco Bell (like daily)
Los Hermanos
Sub Station Stockdale- salad bar (I fill up the large salad, to go, and I swear I can eat on it for 2 days)
Santa Fe Burrito- Nachos....mmmmmmm.....
Brinks Deli
In and Out

Basically, I'm going to be a blimp by the end of this pregnancy (similar to last time).

Soon I'll post some pictures. I have some really cute ones from our trip to Santa Barbara last week (I'm just waiting for Alisha to bring her memory card over so I can get the one of Aubrey's tush...hey Alisha, can you bring that on Friday?) I also have assignments I need to do from my Henley's photo class.

Did I mention my husband is the best? He gave me an early anniversary gift. To say I was excited is the understatement of the year! It is the perfect amount of camera for me...the novice. :) So, yeah, yet another distraction.

Hope this random post wasn't too distracting :)

Digital Scrap booking. Please explain. You print off your own pages? You copy and use on your blog? They were free?

Sorry. Obviously behind the times :-)

3rd graders...they're my favorite! I hope you have kiddos that are going into 3rd grade, they have yet to establish the 4th grade attitude and they still like to please the teacher. Yep...I just love 3rd graders! They definitly will keep you busy and your mind off of your stomach. I pray that God settles your belly long before 14 weeks!

AHHHH so exciting about the camera.

And am I weird that when you said you were craving weird foods, I seriously sat for a few minutes and thought, "I really miss being prego and all the wierd but cool stuff that happened to my body..."

Please remind me of this statement a year from now or so when I'm puking my guts up again. :)

I have a list of foods that I got from CBCC to eat during chemo nausea. Honestly they really did help a lot. I seemed to crave protein (like string cheese) and jello with Cool Whip. Apple juice was good too. Now that chemo is over, the sight of any of them makes me feel nauseous :-)

yes, the camera is exciting! I can't wait to see the pics you'll take.
And I'm so sorry to hear that you are dealing with such yucky nausea all the time. I really hope you feel better soon, and that you can find lots of yummy foods that will help!! :)
