We kicked it into overdrive and actually got some stuff done around here. Justin did a great job finishing the guest bathroom.
I just need to hang some decorations on the wall. We took Poppy and Aubrey to Arroyo Burro dog beach in Santa Barbara. They both had a blast, but Poppy is such a funny dog. All the other dogs were running along the shore enjoying the cool water...not our dog...oh NO, she was rock climbing, chasing the birds UP the cliffs. She really scared us at one point as she leaped off a 8 ft cliff to the boulders below. Luckily she was fine.
We got back around 6 and Justing went to play poker with his friends from work. After Aubrey went to bed, I decided to finish the quilt I was making Christy. I'm really happy with the way it turned out...even though I TOTALLY copied Davi's quilts she made Lorie and Christie. (They also had a very similar one at Strawberry Patches so I don't feel quite as bad).
Oh and I finished Aubrey's birthday invite, I just need to get them developed and sent. YAY! for getting things done. Now I just have to dread work starting again...YUCK!

Barbie your blog is doing the same thing mine was, you just cant tell when you are signed in. Its weird but I had to switch back my template.
Man I'm so impressed at your talents with sewing. Christy is going to LOVE the blanket (and I'm sure use it constantly). I'm getting so excited to see you guys when we're there! Does work start today? Maybe Aubrey can teach Christian a few things on eating. I think I'll pick up some new veggies and try them- the whole thing will get thrown up in the air again next week though while we're in Hungary. Oh well.

Julie and I started meetings today. At least today was only a half day. I thought I was going to go nuts. We had to read this long essay thing and answer questions on it... now I know how the kids feel during STAR testing!
You are so motivated. I love the quilt. I have a feeling this will be one big little princess. Again, tell Christy Im so happy for her!
So when is your 1st day of school? It starts on Thursday (16th) here. My friends who are teachers started back Monday.
Okay, so I was feeling all accomplished because I painted my small bathroom this week. Now you're putting me to shame! Please tell me Justin was at home and at least making some contribution to this long list of amazing do it yourself mania! Cuz I'm feeling pretty lame, right now! :)
