She's baaaack!

...at Disneyland!

...and to the blogging world for now. This blog from last year pretty much sums up life lately. Currently, I'm 10 1/2 weeks and I canNOT wait until I'm 14 weeks...or 40 weeks for that matter, but I'll take some 2nd trimester relief for now. I feel like all I do is moan, groan and complain. I swear I'm not a negative person, but lately I've been a real scrouge. I'm obviously very thankful that I'm pregnant, but I don't enjoy the symptoms that come from this. I've tried to spare all you sweet bloggers from my negative nelliness, so I've been MIA.

Thanks to the help of my amazing hubby, I was able to muster up the gusto to go to Disneyland for a mini-vacation that we planned pre-pregnancy. It was totally worth it. It's amazing how just being out and about gets your mind off your own misery.

Aubrey is a HUGE Disneyland fan. She especially likes FAST rides and was tall enough to go on Matterhorn this time around. She keeps talking about how when she grows a little bigger she can go on the fast splash ride--Splash Mountain. No fear in this kid. I have a feeling as soon as she's 48 inches, she'll be begging us to trade our Disney annual passes for Magic Mountain ones. Until then, we'll enjoy her being our little girl, who in addition to the fast rides, can't get enough of the carousel or Dumbo.

Aubrey was especially excited this time because Grandma Kim went with us on Sunday. We would ask her who she wanted to sit with, and she chose Grandma for every ride. Grandma also spoiled Aubrey and bought her a baby Minnie that she treasured for our entire visit. Minnie rode all rides with us, and would even get "scared and cry" at certain times. Don't worry, Aubrey was quick to console her frightened baby.

Overall, it was a great trip! We're trying to get back to a normal sleep schedule now that we're not working around fireworks, hotel shuttles and such. Thankfully, Daddy is off for the rest of the week, so I have some back-up.

Enjoy the pictures.

Notice all the Baby Minnie pictures from this point on.

We waited in line to see Minnie because she really wanted to see her. Apparently, it was to let her hold baby Minnie. Then she ran away and buried her face.Zonked.

The Bug's Life Movie was interesting. Aubrey was SUPER scared of it, but when we got out she laughed for HOURS about the bug tooting. She wanted to go back the next day, but she just hid her face in my side because she was scared.

Couple of monkeys

Playing in the water for the 20 minutes it was really warm.
I saved this picture for last because it is SOOO my kid. This is her "I'm a big kid with attitude" stance. In this picture, we were on Tom Sawyer's island and she was EXPLAINING to ME, "I'm just going to run real fast up there and you stay here." Um, sure, no problem. ;)
