{Make it *EASY*} Monday

Cheesy Garlic Toast
(I like mine a bit more golden brown)
This is not a healthy recipe, but it is delicious. It is great served as an appetizer or with soup and salad.

1 loaf french or sourdough bread- slice in half length wise
1 bag or 2 cups of shredded cheddar or cheddar jack (you could be an overachiever and shred your own ;) )
1 bunch green onions
about 3/4 cup mayo
Garlic salt to taste

Chop green onions
Mix with cheese and mayo. I add a little mayo at a time because I don't like it when the bread has too much mayo.
When mayo is mixed through, but it's still really thick...it's perfect.
Spread on loaf of bread and sprinkle with garlic salt.
Broil on high about 5 minutes or until golden brown.
Slice and serve...YUM!

Mmmmm. My grandma made this all the time when I was growing up. It was so amazing alongside Tri Tip and homemade chili beans. DELISH!
