My favorite blog posts are the honest ones. The ones that tell it like it is. Sure, I like the perfect pictures, galleries of creative projects, and baby brags, but to be honest, they tend to leave me feeling insecure and inadequate...even when they're MY OWN POSTS! Because let's face it, life is not always peachy keen. The problem is, I'm not funny enough to blog about "real life" while still keeping readers. ENTER: Tales From Motherhood. Seriously, LOVE HER BLOG! HOOKED!
Reasons you must check her out:
She makes real life HILARIOUS! Potty training DMV (Dirty minivans) Kid's fashion Decorating faux pas ....you get the idea
She features tales from her days as a Hollywood actress.
And she's a Christian!
But if it's perfection you desire...this blog is a pretty funny mock blog. For the info on it, click here.
Happy reading!

I think you are funny, entertaining, encouraging, amazing, cute as can be, and super fun to read Barbie! I can't imagine you being insecure about anything ... you are like super mommy, super wifey, and super teach! Love you friend =) And are you as excited for summer play groups as I am?!
I randomly came across this blog a few weeks ago and was hooked for like 3 hours. I couldn't pull away from it! You're right, she's super honest and funny! And at times she's so good at sharing her heart. I wish I could blog like that too!
And you wouldn't lose me as a reader if YOU did!!
Thank you so much! Jenn Murphy just sent me the link to your blog! I am hoping to come to your turf in the next year to speak at a MOPS group so let's play!
By they way, you and some of your mom friends should make a road trip to Livermore for the Design 4 Living Conference in May!

Angela, you're too sweet. The truth is that I pretty much overanalyze everything...that's why I love Wendy's blog so much...it's just REAL LIFE which makes me feel normal ;) And Wendy, not sure if you'll see this, but I thought about going to the conference, but my baby will still be pretty young, so I'm not sure I want to leave her. Though, the breakdancing promise made it extra tempting.
I feel the exact same as you!!! I almost don't like to read blogs when I'm feeling particularly un-together... if that makes sense!! Thanks for the links!! I can't wait to check it out.
They have a nursing moms room where I spent time pumping last year during the breaks at the conference. You might be able to bring your baby, but not sure. Call or email the women's ministry if you are feelin' it.
