Two Months

Seriously, how could it be? I've read so many of you say that this time around you're really treasuring this baby stage, but in all honesty, I feel like it's passing by SOOOO quickly that I haven't had a chance to really take it in and treasure it. I WANT to, just feel like it's gone before I get to grasp it. :( It makes me want to freeze time.

Juliet has gotten quite the personality over the last month and gets cuter as every day passes. It really is hard to remember what life was like before her. I love this smiley, mellow girl of ours!

At two months some things about you that I want to remember:
  • In the morning, after you nurse, you are the smiliest little thing. You coo and smile and we have a happy little conversation in your baby language. It's a great way to start our day.
  • When you get mad you kick your leg before crying. We see that little leg start pumping and we know that we have about 5 seconds to make things better or you're going to light it up!
  • You're still a tummy girl. When we can't seem to make you happy, if we hold you tummy down with your head up by our elbow, it usually makes all things well. Also, when you're overtired, sometimes you get annoyed with us trying to put you to sleep and prefer us to lay you on your tummy and give you your paci.
  • You've been a GREAT sleeper up until you got your first ear infection last Saturday. The week before that we were getting 7-8 hour streches every night. Now you seem to be waking up every 3-4 hours. Hoping we nip it in the butt and you're back to sleeping well by the time I get back to work (BOO) in two weeks.
  • You're long and lean compared to your sister. You weighed 10lbs 12oz at two months (Aubrey weighed 12lbs 1oz at ONE month).
  • I'm really not sure what color hair you're going to have. Some people think it'll be light like Aubrey's, but it seems kind of brown to me. But then again so did Aubrey's at your age.
  • You really do NOT like the carseat.
  • You are super strong and love looking around. You really like sitting upright...we put you in the Bumbo and sometimes the highchair to let you look around.

And because I don't want you to get sick from too much cuteness, I had to post this "Blooper". Seriously, what is this face? Just can't help but laugh at it! :)

She has the prettiest little baby face EVER. I know I keep saying that. Love the part about the leg kicking LOL. And I feel honored that she's wearing those onesies and the bow- thanks for linking me!

It is just a blessing for that sweet baby who gets to take up a room in your home and in your heart- as corny as that sounds. You and Justin are just such excellent parents- your kids have a huge gift in you from the moment they escape that womb!
