Cindy Lou Who, Ice Cream & Toe Nails Too!

I was eating lunch with my mother-in-law sometime before Christmas when this lady commented out how cute Aubrey was and how she looked like Cindy Lou Who (from Dr. Seuss' Grinch). That day she had on a dress, footless leggings and her furry pink boots, with her trademark ponytail and bow on top of her head. She really did look like Cindy Lou Who!

Anyways, my MIL was shopping at JMs the other day and saw this Cindy Lou Who shirt, but it was like $20, so she didn't buy it. Yesterday we went there looking for Easter/ Uncle Kurt's wedding dresses, and most of the Dr. Seuss shirts were on sale for $8 plus 20% off. A STEAL! I L-O-V-E this cute little shirt and so does Aubrey. Check out our very own Cindy Lou Who ~:-)
To complete the 3 day weekend, my dad came to town to flag some orchards so his workers could put bees in tonight (he's a beekeeper for those of you who don't know). Anywho, he brought my lil sis with him and she's a Dewarsaholic :) So we took the kiddos for some ice cream. We brought Brogan while Jed ran errands and Christy was resting (she's REALLY sick and REALLY pregnant....NO fun!). My dad brought both kids a little M&M dispenser for Valentines day and they both loved it. Talk about sugar overload...M&Ms and ice cream...but that's what Grandpa is all about :) Anyways, it was a nice visit.
In other news, I decided to paint Aubrey's toes today after I clipped her toe nails. I just figured out that the only time to accomplish this task is while she's eating in her high chair. She looks like such a big girl with her pretty toes :)

LOVE her Cindy Lou Who shirt! My sister Jessica dn I think that "whos" are the most attractive breed of creature know to mankind. I kid you not. And our absolute favorite storybook in this household is "Horton Hears a Who", with the CD narration by Dustin Hoffman.

A person's a person no matter how smallish.

YOP!!!!

I love the Cindy Lou Who look. I have to agree with Alyssa that is some good ice cream! Uncle Steven is dangerous with the treats, I think Maggie would move in there. Im praying for Christy!

Hi Barbie,
..Jenn Murphy here. I check in occasionally and SWEAR at some point I will get around to organizing some girly, crafty hang out time again! Anywho, I just had to make a quick comment. Okay, I am obviously in love with my own daughter, but I have to say, outside of Hadley, I am in love with yours too. I swear, she is the sweetest, cutest little thing I have ever seen! And I envy those pigtails like no other (poor Hadley's male pattern baldnessis not cooperating yet!) Hopefully I'm not offending any other readers out there but I can't get over her. What a doll! Love the pink piggies!

SO darn cute. and I totally love little girls with painted toes. I think Kerri and Sara waited all of 5 seconds before painting Ella's toes when she was little, even as a baby! too cute.
