Spring is in the air

I've been a blog slacker this week! I wish I could blame it on all the wonderful things I've been doing outside in this beautiful weather, but I really haven't done anything that wonderful. It was my long week at work. I know 3 days isn't long (I really am thankful that I get to work part time), but this week it felt long. I also wish I could blame it on the fact that I have a yummy, new niece down the street, but she's STILL incubating in her mom's tum.

I have been doing some stuff that is productive. I have my soon to be sister-in-laws shower at my house next week, so I had Colleen help me make this super cute shower banner. She made one for a shower she threw and I thought it was so adorable and customized to match that I had to steal the idea. Our church has the CRAFTIEST people ever! She had 4 kiddos she was watching (2 of them hers) and then I brought Aubrey and Brogan over to add to the chaos. She was so gracious to help me despite her busy life...Thanks Colleen!

We've also been doing some cleaning up around here. We had to work in the yard to fix some of the issues the big storms caused and today was the PERFECT weather for it. Aubrey helped daddy mow the lawn while I cleaned up the entry way. Our yard is showing early signs of spring and I'm lovin' it! The paperwhites bloomed a couple of weeks ago and are on their way out, but the daffodils and anenomes are ready to bloom. We also have the most durable nastursiam (sp) EVER! It replants itself every year and has managed to stay alive and well through our cold winter (I know, our winters are pretty mild, but still...). We've also been shopping for a NICE bike trailer....anyone have any recommendations? So far, we're leaning toward the Trek Gobug or the Schwinn Joyrider. They're a small fortune, but we're just trying to give the President an early boost with economic recovery!

So hopefully my next post will have a picture of my sweet little niece! I know Christy is eager :)

Barbie-A post with no pictures, so unlike you. Sounds like nice weather down there. Wish I could say the same. Christy needs to have that baby soon, poor girl. I'll be stalking, or watching for a post.

Thats what we like to see-pictures. The weather looks nice. I use my diaper and wipes case a lot, when I just take my purse. I pretty much love it. I dont always take my big bag.

Green grass, the sun, flowers blooming?!! I am steaming jealous right now. It looks fabulous down there. And Aubrey is adorable in the backpack!

Hopefully the baby makes it soon!

I was wondering if your niece had made an appearance yet. :) We definitely want to see pics when she decides to come out.

great job on the banner--it looks beautiful! and I'm so impressed that you know all those flower names. I do not have a green thumb at all, but my MIL does. Myabe when the kids are older I will have time to garden. Supposedly it's very therapeutic and all.
