An update on my sweet little niece....per Anna's request :)Tomorrow Reagan will be 1 week old. So young, yet so significant. I remember how slowly, and yet how quickly that first week with Aubrey seemed to pass. Discovering your new little baby and each of their sweet little qualities. Reagan really is such a sweet little baby. She's so petite...weighing in at only 6lbs 15oz at today's Dr's appt. A whole pound less than she did at birth. That's been a concern of Christy's this week, but the doctors are monitoring her weight and things seem to be back on track. I haven't held her much because she seems so breakable...I'm used to a much sturdier newborn. I do enjoy admiring her though and noticing all her sweet little features while her mommy holds her. To me she doesn't really look like anyone. She looks SO different than Aubrey did at birth and I don't really think she looks much like Brogan either, although I don't really remeber what he looked like as a newborn. Regardless of who she looks like, she's precious and I love my little niece!
** Oh, and, in case you were wondering her middle name is after my Grandma Helen...her mom (from the Ukraine) always called her Elena.

Yay a picture and a middle name. She is very pretty and her skin looks flawless!
I know how Christi feels. Weight issues are so stressful. To not know if your baby is getting enough is a terrible feeling. The worst is when I thought Ethan was doing well and then going in for a weight check and finding out it was not the case. I am sure hormones didn't help during it. It took me awhile, but I found it a blessing that God provided another form of nourishment to help supplement.
