...the darndest things

Aubrey is at that age where you never know what is coming next. Lately, she's been cracking us up with all her random little comments. Here are a few:

• Driving home from preschool she was telling Justin about her friends Abigail and Riley. Justin asked if she rode bikes with them and she told him, "No, Miss Nicolette and Miss Maria were too lazy to get out the bikes". LOL. Not sure if that's what the teachers told her or what she heard from her friends, but we thought it was too darn funny. (We think the lack of bikes may have had something to do with the extreme heat and poor air quality)

• She's all about the word "fusterated". When she gets really upset she'll tell us she's just "fusterated". The other day, when Justin was hanging up her new valance in her room, the hardware (nails/screws) weren't cooperating so he yelled something like "COME ON!". She was walking around the house saying, "I can't say that. Daddy's just "fusterated". " You would think we're cussing up a storm or something, but I swear no vulgar language was used.

• When she likes something that is suggested, she puts up her hands and shakes her head up in down in a very matter of fact way and says, "that'd be great!".

• When she's trying to play hard to get...like with Justin after work or a grandparent, she'll run away from them and kind of whine. Then she'll come up to me and tell me that she's "just growling at them".

• When she prays at night she always thanks God for " my family, and God, and Aubrey, and the baby in mommy's tummy"...and a few other random ones that she throws in depending on the day. Just kind of funny that she is so thankful for herself. :) I know I'm thankful for her!

I swear there are more, but I keep forgetting them. I'll edit to add them as I remember. :)
