Man, I look homely in that picture. I need to put a little lipstick and powder on.
This pregnancy so far...
- I was sick longer than I was with Aubrey. I'd say I started to REALLY feel better around 16-17 weeks.
- My baby is measuring right on track. Seriously, to the day. Lanie, our ultrasound tech, did say that it looked like it had some meat on it's bones when she saw the calf, but the bones, head, stomach are right on.
- I'm already having braxton hicks. Is that normal this early on??
- I feel HUGE! I can't believe I'm only 24 1/2 weeks, but at the same time, I can believe I'm already 24 1/2 weeks.
- I get really bad heartburn.
- I struggle when I drink carbonated beverages, but I still crave them.
- My chest area seemed to explode early on. I'm worried about after I have the baby.
- I've been so antisocial, but as the weather cools down (I know it's only for a couple of days, but I'll take it) I'm looking forward to hanging out with friends.
- I'm so thankful that...A) I'm pregnant- that this baby was meant to be and B) Despite the 'normal' yet miserable morning sickness, I've had a healthy pregnancy.
- We still can't agree on boy names. Lord, help us if it's a boy. :)
- I get giddy just thinking about meeting this new little one. I just can't wait to see what it looks like, how big it is, etc.

oh, Barbie, you don't look homely at all! You look beautiful! Really-- such a cute pregnant lady. :)
24 1/2 weeks! Wow! It seems to be flying by!
by the way, I had braxton hicks SUPER early too this last time around. It was kind of ridiculous. And the heartburn... oh, the heartburn. I feel for you, because I know how awful that is.
yay for pregnancy updates! :)
You are so cute!
I've been having tons of Braxton Hicks too and we're right about the same-ish so yeah. They started so early for me this time. Actually, my midwife said that with subsequent pregnancies you feel them earlier and earlier and that she's even had a few patients who felt them as early as 12 weeks!
Homely?! Not even close! You look great- loving those jeans on you. I am SO looking forward to the happy ending in a few months for you...it's been a long time coming. So sorry about the heartburn. : / Baby Thompson, we adore you already!
what a blessing!...just few more months and we get to meet him /her! your "big girl's" b-day party looked like fun! sad, we missed it, but, was glad to get to see you the week before! continued prayers for a healthy pregnancy! ally

Oh, my. I am sorry about the heartburn. I had terrible heartburn with Ethan, so I know how you feel. If it gets real bad the doctor can give you something for it. I know I popped the tums like crazy! Just an FYI- they wise tale is that the more heartburn you have the more hair your baby will have, but Ethan hardly had any.
Oh Barbie you look G R E A T! I love your perfectly round little bump, so fun! I had braxton hicks really early with Peyton, but late with Cohen. I don't think there is a normal ... just whatever your body wants to do =) Oh and the heartburn (insert hug) it sucks!
I am so glad that things are progressing well for you this time! I can't wait to see you new little bundle in a few months!!
