Closed for rehearsals!

Apparently it's a Thompson wedding thing.Justin and I were married at the Bakersfield Museum of Art almost 5 years ago and when we showed up with the wedding party and the rest of the family for our rehearsal, the gates were locked and no one was there. We were forced to have our rehearsal in central park with half the homeless population of Bakersfield. The next day when the guys showed up to set all the chairs up, the worker was 30 min. late. YIKES!

I was hoping for a better experience when Kurt and Alisha decided to have their ceremony in the garden, but somehow had a gut feeling it might be a repeat. Maybe it was my negative thinking, maybe the museum just needs to get a grip on their calendar and staff, but it HAPPENED AGAIN! At least central park is closed for "remodel" so Kurt and Alisha weren't gifted with the homeless audience yelling, "don't do it man!" like we were. Everything went well despite the mishap and we're looking forward to a beautiful wedding!

WE LOVE YOU KURT AND ALISHA!

Aren't they a cute couple?
