These last few weeks have felt like I've been in a whirlwind. It's just been kinda crazy around here. Not because I've had any life altering experiences, but because our family HAVE been going through life altering experiences. First Christy had Reagan, which was super exciting. But this also meant that I had to figure out who would watch Aubrey on the days that Christy usually watched her. Thankfully, Colleen agreed to taking her a couple of extra days and has been exceedingly flexible with me. Both of Aubrey's grandmas also volunteered for a few days each and Justin and I each took a day off to be home. Although it all worked out, my anxiety level has be skyrocketing due to all the scheduling stuff. I've also had a baby or wedding shower every weekend (including today) for the last month. Two of these showers were for my soon to be sister in law Alisha, and I threw one of them. Justin's brother Kurt is getting married TOMORROW! His fiance Alisha and her mom have the whole event under control, so really I haven't had to do much for this wedding. Family weddings do make for a busy season though. It has meant the previously mentioned shower mania, finding a dress for Aubrey and I, hemming Aubrey's dress, getting daddy fitted and refitted for a tux, doing a wedding video and finally going to the rehersal last night and the wedding tomorrow! Yay, we can't wait! All of this to say, my house is a disaster because of this whirlwind of activity and I'm looking forward to the slowdown that spring break will bring!
Here's a photo recap of some of the excitement:
The soon to be bride getting in on the shower game action.

Alisha requested the T.P. dress game. I LOVE shower games and this is a fav. of mine too.
The rehersal at the random building NEXT to the Museum of Art-- That story in the next post.

yeah. It is seriously time for a Thompson family vacation. You've had a LOT going on. I hope people have thoroughly thanked you Barbie- you're always the first to volunteer and are really gifted in all these areas. Aubrey, Aubrey- you are ADORABLE!!!
when life settles down we should get together this spring break! I've been super busy too and am glad John has the week off so I can try to put my house back together.
