Optimistic

I'm feeling cautiously optimistic today. I looked up pregnancy after D&C and from what I've read, it should be okay to try to get pregnanat the next time I ovulate. At first I wasn't sure if I'd want to rush right back into things, but I think we're going to give it a try. Hopefully it won't take 7 months like it did with Aubrey. God is in control, and we'll see what happens.

I still have a nagging headache, but I'm feeling good. This morning I took Aubrey to the park and then to her Papa CC's. She loves her Papa CC and he's CRAZY about her. I wanted to run by Strawberry Patches (did you know they have a blog) to see if they had a specific Amy Butler fabric that I want to make some couch pillows with. They didn't, bummer. CC said Aubrey was happy, so I ran a few more errands. It felt great to be out and about and not feel like I was torturing my poor Aubrey. Aubrey and CC ate chicken noodle soup, cheetos puffs, freshly picked strawberries, peaches in jello. Of course, anything else she wanted, he treated her to. Then they played under the big maple trees in the neighbor's yard. Aubrey really liked the cruchy leaves. She didn't want to come home :)

I'm looking forward to dessert with friends tonight and a little San Diego/ Sea World vacation next week! I think work starts again the week after that...YIKES!

Here are some fun pictures.

Daddy's ties make great necklaces.

WEE!

Aubrey was asleep in the crib and her port-a-crib was in her room, so Reagan got to sleep under the table. Close enough to a crib, right?!

Aqua-wo-man!

Blankets inspired by blog hopping over to this blog.

Alisha and I had a blast making them. Aren't these both great minky patterns? Only $10 a yard at F&M.

Welcome to your nightly news.
"Hello, where are you?"
The end of a long day of playing.
Fun with friends! Thanks for the tickets Brent Michaels in the morning :)
And I'm so glad we ran into the Lagores, it was GREAT spending time with all of you!

I love all your summer pictures. And again I confess my jealousy of your many abilities. The blankets are so fun.

Enjoy your vacation. My first day of work is a week from Friday, so I will be setting my classroom up next week. My summer is officially over Friday! :(

I am in awe as you deal with all you've been through. You are so strong! I love all your pictures of your super cute little girl, seriously she is ADORABLE!

Thank you for your kind words once again, you are so sweet. I have had a tough week and it is great to see your blog and be inspired to keep my faith strong even through the storm. Thank you for that. I realize that I am not the only Christian going through struggles and mine seem trivial compared to most.

The blankies look so cute! Just this weekend I was cleaning out my fabric hutch and I came upon a bunch of silky trim that I made a few months back, but never got around to using. I thought it would look cute on a little 4-square girlie quilt, so I decided not to trash it. I threw away so much fabric this weekend. It feels good. Fun, Fun, can't wait to dive back in.

So wonderful seeing you tonight. I'm still smiling from the visit from our surprise guest. What a wonderful friend she is.

Oh my beautiful sister (in law). I am really in awe of your bravery and courage. I am so glad that God is in control. It is really hard even in everyday life to not be in control.. but you are doing it in the toughest situation. I love you so much and you are an insporation to me and everyone you meet. :)

Ok enough of the sentimental crying stuff.. and on to the goods.

So umm.. we had a blast making those blankies??!!! oh ya that ruffle was sooooo much fun! LOL just kidding it was kind of funny to have you oh sew practically the whole thing over because the thread kept breaking. ;)

wow, so many CUTE and adorable pictures of your little sweetie!! She's so photogenic and pretty.

I'm really glad to hear you're doing ok for the most part, and I will definitely be praying that you will be blessed with another Baby soon. Of course, I know no one can ever replace Baby Bee for you, but the next one will be such a welcome blessing of its own!!

Those blankets are so pretty... I'm impressed. Sheesh, do ALL of you people know how to sew like pros??? :)

I love how all 3 of your last posts have happy titles. Im not sure I could muster that up. Im glad you are getting through. Everyday it does get easier. I say go for the baby making again, some people I know are more fertile after a d&c. Really when you have the next child, you will know it was meant to be, believe me I cant imagine Dallin being anyone different or coming at a different time. After those 2 losses I thought it would never happen.

Now on to the crafting...how come you do so much of it and I do so little? I love the blankets.

As usual I love all pics of Aubrey.

I came across your Blog, and I wanted to send my prayers and hope my story will help you as well. In May of 2006 I found out that I was pregnant. I was so happy, this was to be my first baby. I was on cloud nine!!!! I carried that baby 14 weeks, when I started to have bleeding. At first there was not cramping, so the doctor thought that it was "old blood." Well, in a couple of days, I had cramping and bleeding. This went on for days and days....53 to be exact. I ultimately went in for a d&c in September, and went for my 6 week check up in October. At that point my doctor advised me to wait 3 months before trying to conceive again. Although, I was sad about it, I prayed and found that for my health and hopefully the health of the next baby I better wait. Well in January 2007I found out I was pregnant. Scared to death, I went to the doctor and he was so nice and did all early tests and sent me for an ultrasound at 8 weeks.....much to my surprise.....I had twins. And on September 13th I welcomed my daughters into the world. Prayers and blessings are with you....

You are a beautiful writer and your daughter is adorable! Your blankets are great and there is nothing like a Minkee blankee to help ease the hurt. Hope your visit to Strawberry Patches made you feel a little better.
